This recipe is great for low-effort cooking and big-tasting sliders! 🔥
Ingredients
- A whole piece of pork neck (approx. 1.8kg)
- One bottle of Big Rick’s Honey BBQ Sauce (that’s our fave, you can choose your fave too)
- Small bread rolls (gluten-free if needed)
- Cheese slices (dependent on how many sliders you’re making)
- Pickled cucumber/gherkin (dependent on how many sliders you’re making)
- Sliced red onion (dependent on how many sliders you’re making)
- Lettuce leaves, rocket or baby spinach (if you wanna be a wee bit healthier ;0)
- Coleslaw for on the side
Method
- Pop the pork neck and the sauce in the slow cooker for 8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high (depending on your slow cooker).
- Take the meat out and shred it. Return to the slow cooker and stir back into the sauce till mixed.
- Make your sliders by adding some shredded pork, two cheese slices, gherkins and greens, and some slaw on the side.
Leftovers
Eat with potato bake, rice and veggies, or just pig out on sliders all week!
