These classic beef rissoles are an easy crowd pleaser, and are a staple for any good Aussie barbie.
- 500g beef mince
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 large carrot, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 1 tbsp Big Rick’s BBQ Sauce
- Plain flour to coat
- Oil for frying
- Add all ingredients except for flour and oil to a bowl and mix. Form into shape.
- Coat in flour. Coat the surface of a frying pan with oil and cook on medium heat for approx. 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
Serve with salad for the perfect summer meal, or with roast veggies for a heartier meal. Use gluten-free flour to make this recipe gluten-free.
